15 x 2 Hour Classroom Sessions. (Classroom course is required for all teens under the age of 18)

Mock Road Test

The Mock Road Test will help your student get prepared for the road test at the Illinois SOS Office or with us.
Our instructors will perform a full mock road test, discuss any errors with your student, review any skills that need to be reviewed, then perform another test, if time permits.

The Mock Road Test is a one hour, one-on-one lesson that needs to be scheduled by calling our office at 847-977-7193 after you purchase it online.

Illinois Road Test

Students under the age of 18 who have completed all of the Illinois drivers ed requirements are eligible to take a Road Test with us.
BONUS! You do not have to be 16 years old to take a test. You can take a test with us, pass, and schedule an appointment at the IL DMV to get your license on or after your birthday!

Joyce's Driving School is approved by the Illinois Secretary of State to conduct the Graduate to Safety Driver Remedial Education Course. The remedial driving course teaches students to act responsibly and rationally in driving situations.

Only for people under 25 years of age who had their license suspended.

Illinois Adult Drivers Ed Programs in Barrington, IL

Our instructors are patient, caring and enjoy teaching driver's education at our Illinois adult drivers ed facility. This is perfect for Adults over the age of 18 who need a few refresher Behind-the-Wheel lessons and adult driving classes before going for the licensing road test.

Adult Driver Course

Our adult programs are tailored for Adult (Older than 18) who:
who need a few refresher Behind-the-Wheel lessons before going for the licensing road test.
who have never gotten their license and want to learn how to drive.
who have moved here from another country and wish to get their U.S. driver’s license.
Seniors who are nervous about driving or need a little confidence boost for their driver’s exam.
Who would like some specific instruction for highway driving

NOTE! If you do not have an ILLINOIS LEARNERS PERMIT or a DRIVERS LICENSE, we cannot drive you. Your first step is to pass the written exam at the Illinois Secretary of States office to get a learners permit/drivers license.

Online Course

Any student over the age of 17 and 3 months and not yet 21 years old can take this online course to satisfy the Illinois State requirements for a 6-hour driving school class.
Students who have completed this course will be eligible to get their license when they are 18 years old or older.

This package DOES NOT include any Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) lessons as those are not required by the state.
You will be able to access the Online course once you have received an Activation email from us. That email will have your credentials to log into your student portal to begin the course.
